Learn about local edible plants at a food forest!
Activities include:
* a drawing class led by artist Kim Heise
* the first 20 kids can make a nature journal, led by artist Stephanie McMillan
* learn about edible plants during a tour of the food forest led by Leann Barber of 4-H
* free coloring pages created by artists Kim Heise and Stephanie McMillan
* display walls where participants can share coloring and drawings, recipes, information and messages about locally grown fruits and vegetables
* “Nature Treasure Hunt” games — win some cute stickers!
Free, with free neighborhood street parking.
